~ Driving ~ Coffman Cove is accessible by auto via the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry System and then Ketchikan to Hollis via the Inter~Island Ferry Authority. Upon your arrival in Hollis you will drive approximately 70 miles on the island wide road system (52 miles are paved and 18 miles are improved gravel).
~ Flying ~ Your travel agent can book your flight directly to Coffman Cove. It is about a two hour flight from Seattle to Ketchikan on Alaska Airlines and the last 60 miles of the trip is a scenic floatplane trip from Ketchikan, providing magnificent views of the vast wilderness of the Tongass National Forest. Taquan Air provides scheduled flights to and from Ketchikan and Coffman Cove. Flight times vary due to the time of year you are planning your trip, so please check with the airlines for current schedules.
